John P. Strohm

Associate

John is an associate in the firm's Business and Tax Group. His practice focuses on entertainment and media, intellectual property, commercial real estate, and general corporate representation.

John has a wealth of experience negotiating agreements related to music publishing, recording, distribution, and emerging media.  As a former professional recording artist and touring musician, John understands both the business and creative issues faced by artists, songwriters, publishers, and independent record labels.

Additionally, John assists corporate and small business clients in a wide range of matters including intellectual property, commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, financing, construction, and entity formation.

He is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University (magna cum laude, 2004) where he served as editor-in-chief of the Cumberland Law Review.

John is a native of Bloomington, Indiana. He is married to the former Heather Anne Christensen and has three children.
